Tribute on Tuesday (what's left of it)

It's my Dads birthday today, and I think it only fair that I use todays blog as a tribute to him. (Especially since I forgot to post both his fathers day card the week before last, and then his birthday card as well!)  Luckily this morning Master 6 said "Mum...it is Tuesday today isn't it?" "Yes" I replied a bit off handed.... "Well why haven't we rung Papa to say happy birthday then" he asks...boy I felt  terrible!!  So, I rang my Dad and we did the birthday thing of singing at the top of our lungs, and adding in a few humorous words here and there...and all was well with the world :)

Anyway... my Dad is an awesome bloke.  He is loving, caring, Extremely Cheeky!, he gets away with all sorts, he has a wicked sense of humour, He's a family guy....fiercely proud of our Maori heritage, easy to warm to, social, outgoing, witty, a talented upholsterer, protective, understanding, fair, and an all round top guy :)
