Rain

forceful and firm

reverberating on the rooftops

when will it let up?

Is it staying long? for the afternoon, or perhaps the long weekend?

Who invited it?

Refreshing rain, Invigorating rain.

Filling our tanks, but inhibiting our leisure activities.

But I am thankful for the glorious rain.

The earth is grateful for its nourishment.

I will enjoy it, knowing that elsewhere it is sought after, and most wanted.

Rain rain, go away.... but only when you are ready
